Prevention and treatment of chronic non-infectious diseases.

Key research achievements

Under the direction of O.M. Drapkina the largest Russian and international research in the field of epidemiology, prevention, aspects of pathogenesis and treatment of chronic non-infectious diseases is carried out.

Under the scientific supervision of O.M. Drapkina 31 candidate theses and 5 doctoral theses in the field of medical sciences were defended.

Publication activity

Author of more than 2000 scientific publications in Russian and international journals, 21 monographs, 45 textbooks. Co-author of the National Guidelines for the Prevention of Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases in the Russian Federation (2022), clinical recommendations on gastroenterology.

Author of 97 patents and 136 state registration certificates for databases.

Hirsch index: 66 (RSCI), 29 (Scopus).

2012 – The Minister of Education of the Russian Federation announced a commendation for innovative technologies of continuous education of doctors.
2013 – Laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of education.
