Research interests

Organisation and development of clinical pharmacology service in the Republic of Belarus, search for ways to optimise the rational use of medicines, formation and optimisation of the formulary system of the Republic of Belarus, pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, medicine safety and pharmacovigilance.

Larisa N. Gavrilenko is a developer of regulatory documents of the Ministry of Health on the formation and functioning of the clinical pharmacology service in the Republic of Belarus, regulatory documents on the formation and functioning of the formulary system in the Republic of Belarus (the Republican Formulary of Medicines and the list of essential medicines), instructions on the use of modern methods of evaluation of medical technologies. As a member of the organisational, methodological and expert group, participates in the work on the pharmacotherapy sections of clinical protocols for diagnosis and treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of patients.

Publication activity

Author of more than 150 scientific publications in national and foreign publications, including teaching aids on various sections of clinical pharmacology for students of higher educational institutions. Co-author of the textbook Clinical Pharmacology. Formulary medicines.

Hirsch index: 6 (RSCI).

Awards

In 2018, Larisa N. Gavrilenko was awarded with the sign “Excellent Health Care Worker of the Republic of Belarus” for her work on the organisation and development of the clinical pharmacology service. She has a certificate of honour of the Health Care Committee of Minsk City Executive Committee.
In 2020, L.A. Gavrilenko was awarded the Grant of the President of the Republic of Belarus for 2021 in the field of health care “Development and introduction of new organisational forms of work in practical health care, the use of which will contribute to effective personalised pharmacotherapy for patients of child and adult age, curbing the development of antibiotic resistance, improving the quality and safety of drug therapy, rational use of medicines”.
