Evidence-based medicine, clinical epidemiology, pharmacology, clinical pharmacology.

Key research accomplishments

Recognised expert in the field of fundamental and clinical pharmacology, epidemiology and evidence-based medicine - made an outstanding contribution to the development of the formulary system and clinical pharmacology in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation, the establishment and development of Cochrane Collaboration in the Russian Federation and the Russian-speaking countries.

Publication activity

Author and co-author of more than 500 published scientific works, including monographs, reference books of medicines, patents and author's certificates of the USSR and the Russian Federation, educational and methodical works.

Under the scientific supervision of Ziganshina L.E. 30 candidate theses (PhD) and 2 doctoral theses (D.Sci.) were defended.

Hirsch index: 24 (RSCI), 18 (Scopus).

Awards

Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of science and technology for the work “Development and introduction of a new technology of selection and rational use of drugs - formulary system” (2007).
