Research interests

Clinical pharmacology, rational pharmacotherapy, evidence-based medicine, pharmacoepidemiology, safety, problems of polypragmasy, development and implementation of clinical guidelines.

Key research achievements

Development of regulatory documents regarding drug provision.
Participation in the development of clinical guidelines in various fields (assessing methodology of the guidelines as a member of multidisciplinary work groups).
Development of the guidelines on selection of medicinal products for the lists of Federal  Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund / High-technology health care fund ; formulating the guidelines on ABC/VEN analysis in the health facilities.
Monitoring and audits of drug utilization in Kyrgyz health facilities.
Training health care specialists on rational use of medicines, assessment of use, developing clinical guidelines, standards, and indicators, and quality assessment of health care delivery.
Revision of the Essential Drug List of the Kyrgyz Republic (vice chairman of the committee).
Promotion of Health technology assessment in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Aida A. Zurdinova currently supervises five postgraduates and one candidate for 14.02.06 (3.3.6.) Pharmacology, Clinical pharmacology.

Publication activity

Author of over 60 publications, of them, 35 clinical guidelines and protocols and six manuals.

Hirsch index: 4 (RSCI), 1 (Scopus).
