Abstract
A case description of a serious adverse reaction «propofol infusion syndrome» (PRIS), the existence of which has not been previously described in the literature - neurotoxic effect of deep coma is present. The reaction occurred in a child aged 10 years on the background of prolonged infusion of propofol and excess dose. The data of the literature regarding the etiology and pathogenesis of this syndrome, as well as possible factors responsible for features of the course in the present clinical case are presented.

Abstract
Prevention of adverse events caused by medication errors is an important challenge of modern healthcare as it offers the possibility to reduce mortality, improve patient safety and reduce costs arosed from correction of complications. Two modern methods (Global Trigger Tool and Failure Mode and Effect analysis) of detection and analysis of information about adverse events and medication errors are presented in the article, and according authors opinion can provide the opportunity to develop and suggest measures for reduction of potential risks.

Abstract
Currently, more than 100 million women worldwide use combined oral contraceptives. Risk/benefit ratio of this group of drugs over the half-century history is largely changed in the direction of safety. The factors that increase the safety of this group of drugs, as well as the main risk factors are discussed.

Abstract
Inhibitors of the sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 SGLT2 is a new class of hypoglycemic drugs. This article presents the information on FDA reports (2013-2015) and AIS (May 2015 - February 2016) on the risk of new adverse reaction - ketoacidosis. Conjectural pathophysiological mechanisms of ADR associated with this class of drugs, which could lead to its development are presented.

Abstract
Despite the differences in the chemical structure and pharmacological properties, the risk group for the occurrence of an acute attack of angle-closure glaucoma includes the majority of modern antidepressants. The possible mechanisms of influence of these psychotropic drugs on the intraocular pressure are discussed.
